There are 30 days left for the Women's World Cup, live on Telemundo

MIAMI, Florida – As the countdown to the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup continues, the likes of Linda Caicedo, Vanina Correa and Jennifer Hermoso are ready to make their debuts on the courts of Australia and New Zealand.

The contest will have the historic participation of 32 countries and will take place from July 20 to August 20. The final will take place in Sydney on August 20.

The ball will begin to run simultaneously on July 20 at Eden Park, in Auckland, and at Stadium Australia, in Sydney, in games that will be broadcast live on Telemundo and Peacock.

Powers like the United States, which will seek the two-time championship, as well as Germany and Sweden, will be present, all with the sole objective of lifting the most important trophy in women’s football.

And as in any great event, Telemundo and Peacock will be present to bring you the emotions of each of the matches of this ninth edition, in which the devastating selection of the stars and stripes will seek their fifth title.

FIFA’s head of women’s soccer, Sarai Bareman, told NewsCorp Australia that they expect more than 2 billion viewers, double the number of the previous edition, in France, won by the United States.

A record attendance at the stadiums is also expected, with more than one million tickets already sold.
