“He was the child of my eye, it has been very hard to lose him, God gave him to me and God took him from me… I ask God and all those who are watching us to see their children grow up, get married, have grandchildren, succeed and that your children bury you. There is no greater pain than burying a child and going through this pain so great that I do not wish it on anyone, “said the actress.
The artist not only expressed her feelings in this hard moment. She also took the opportunity to thank all the people who have supported her, her daughter-in-law, and her grandson, José Julián.
“Yesterday I hadn’t landed yet, but now that the flowers have arrived and the house is so beautiful and with so much good energy and so much love, I also didn’t expect people to say so many nice things to me, I thank you very much.”
Julián Figueroa, 27, died Sunday in his room of a myocardial infarction.
So far, Maribel confirmed that her son’s funeral will be a private ceremony between the family and the artist’s closest friends.
