CDMX.- Reports about the poor conditions in which the contestants of the Netflix reality show based on the Korean hit The Calming Game are filmed, were denied by the streaming company.

The British media The Sun, made public statements from participants who ensure that they had to compete in temperatures of minus three degrees Celsius in a place that did not have heating.

“Everybody was shaking. I don’t think there were heaters.

“They gave us two thermals, two socks, a T-shirt, some sneakers and a green tracksuit,” said one contestant.

The reality is secretly filmed at Cardington Studios, United Kingdom, Netflix brought together 456 applicants to compete for 4.56 million dollars in a series of games inspired by the Korean production The Squid Game.

According to the accusations published by The Sun, during the filming of the first game, Red Light, Green Light, in which the contestants must remain immobile for a long time, several of them began to feel bad due to the low temperatures, they even report that one person had to be taken on a stretcher from the scene.

Netflix responded to these accusations in a statement where it ensures that its production implements the appropriate security protocols.

“Netflix, Studio Lambert and The Garden make caring for collaborators one of their top priorities. All of the contestants were prepared by production several weeks ago that they would play a game in cold conditions and they participated knowing this.

“Every precaution was taken to ensure that the game was played safely,” he argued.
