Judge Sinia Pérez Correa, of the Mayagüez Court, issued this Tuesday an arrest warrant against 34-year-old Alexis Alicea Torres, accused in absentia of incest and abuse with $1 million bail.
The events with which he is accused occurred from 2020, until the current year, in the area of the town of Lajas, where it is alleged that he committed the acts against a minor under 13 years of age, causing her to become pregnant and give birth to a child. .
Alicea Torres faces charges for violations of articles 131 CP (Incest), 283 CP (Threat or Intimidation of Witnesses), and article 59 (Abuse), of Law 246, Law for the Safety, Well-being and Protection of Minors.
In addition, prosecutors filed charges against Liz Anette Rodriguez Gonzalezwife of the defendant, since, together with Alicea Torres, they allegedly deprived the minor of her freedom, leaving her locked up in the residence with the infant.
Against Rodríguez González, a bond of 15 thousand dollars was indicated, which he provided, for which he was released under electronic supervision until the day of the Preliminary Hearing.
Sergeant Luis Santana, attached to the Division of Sexual Crimes and Child Abuse of the CIC of Mayagüez, was in charge of the investigation.
