A former teacher from a private school Las Vegas was accused of having sex with a former student for four yearsaccording to US media.
Kaitlin Glover, 34, was arrested and charged with lewd acts with a 14 or 15 year oldand two charges for being a school employee in a position of authority and engaging in sexual conduct with a student 16 years of age or older.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department reported that a student claimed in June 2022 to have had sex with Glover.
The two had sexual relations between December 2017 and September 2021, the student allegedly declared to the police, after they began sending messages on Snapchat.
According to fox 5, “Glover started sending her nude photos through Snapchat”.
The American media reported that the director would pick up the student in her van and then they would have sex there once or twice a week.
“The victim did not tell anyone about their relationship for four years because the suspect said that she would kill herself if the victim left her, or that she would kill herself if she told the police”, reads the report, according to foxnews.
Marc Cook, an attorney representing the school, told Fox News Digital that he understood that the student graduated in 2021.
The lawyer added that Glover has not worked at the establishment since the victim’s family filed the allegations.
“The school has and will continue to cooperate with the Metropolitan Police Department, but they have not shared their findings with the school. We wish the former student the best and hope that the legal process and investigation get to the truth of this matter as soon as possible,” she stated, according to Fox News.
