A man was arrested in the heart of La Plata for raping his two stepdaughters for at least 4 years. The 44-year-old implicated was apprehended in the last hours at 7 and 56, accused of sexually assaulting his partner’s daughters at their home in Los Hornos.
In this framework, official sources told 0221.com.ar that the investigation began in June 2020, when the mother of the victims reported that the minors had told her the ordeal that they had had to experience. As she was told, they were subjected by the stepfather every time the woman went to work and left them in his care in their precarious home in the city.
The abuse, which was aggravated by carnal access and occurred every time the mother left to fulfill her work obligations, began when the daughters were 7 and 12 years old, respectively. At one point, the older woman told her what was happening and acknowledged that the detainee threatened to kill them so they wouldn’t tell anything: “If they say anything, I’ll kill the whole family,” he told the victims.
The stories of the victims were ratified in the Gesell Chamber, where the facts and the authorship of the stepfather were confirmed. In view of this situation, an arrest warrant was issued and the defendant was arrested by members of the La Plata Departmental Directorate of Investigations (DDI).
