They ask Taco Bell to pay $5 million for their advertising of Mexican pizza and other products

A Taco Bell customer filed a class action lawsuit against the fast food chain accusing it of “falsely promoting the amount of meat and ingredients” that some of its products contained.

The lawsuit seeks financial compensation of at least $5 million for Taco Bell customers who purchased the products since 2020. Taco Bell has not commented publicly on the lawsuit.

Frank Siragusa, the plaintiff, says that Taco Bell exaggerates menu toppings by at least “twice the amount” in its Crunchwrap Supreme, Grande Crunchwrap, Vegan Crunchwrap, Mexican Pizza and Veggie Mexican Pizza, financially hurting consumers as they You don’t get what you are paying for.

The lawsuit, filed in the Eastern District of New York, states that Siragusa and all other individuals who purchased the items at a Taco Bell in New York from July 31, 2020 through the date of the lawsuit’s final statement could be eligible to join the lawsuit and receive possible financial compensation.

Siragusa included images of Taco Bell ads to compare with what customers are given, where you can see a big difference between the products.

Siragusa’s lawsuit states that Taco Bell’s false advertising is worrisome to low-income consumers now that inflation and meat prices are “so high” and some people are struggling financially.
