The Attorney General of the Republic (FGR) seized ten tigers, five lions, six jaguars and other wild animals in Jalisco, the institution reported.

The Specialized Regional Control Prosecutor’s Office (FECOR), in the Jalisco Delegation, completed a search warrant issued by the District Control Judge Specialized in the Accusatory Criminal System, for a property located in La Barca, Jalisco, in which they assured various wild specimens.

“According to the investigation folder, elements of the National Defense Secretariat (Sedena), when carrying out a surveillance tour of a dirt road that leads to San José de las Moras, in La Barca, sighted a property in the which had different animals”, detailed the FGR.

It indicated that the Federal Public Prosecutor’s Office (MPF) requested a search procedure for said property, which was carried out by the Federal Ministerial Police (PFM), of the Criminal Investigation Agency (AIC), with the support of specialized experts. of the institution.

“Two antelopes, one llama, 10 tigers, three of them cubs, six jaguars, five lions, two red deer, two Harris eagles, one emu bird, three caracara birds, one raven, two pelicans, three vultures were seized at the site. , nine red-backed parakeets, one cacomixtle, four kramer parrots, two multicolored parakeets and two raccoons,” he added.

The FGR added that everything insured was made available to the Federal Public Ministry.
