Juarez City.- A total of 70 scholarships are awarded by the Health Directorate to citizens, through the scholarship program against addictions, which lasts three months in one of the detention centers that have a collaboration agreement with the Municipal Government.

Daphne Santana Fernández, Director of Health, announced that 30 citizens have benefited from this program, which is aimed at people from 14 to 59 years of age, who have problems with alcoholism, addiction to marijuana, tobacco or ‘crystal ‘, and that they do not have the resources but the will to rehabilitate themselves.

Citizens interested in receiving support should go to the Urbano B Health Center, located on Calle Puerto Progreso and Puerto Anzio s/n, in the Portal del Roble neighborhood, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. hours.

The beneficiary must present a birth certificate, official identification of the applicant, official identification of the immediate family member or guardian, two proofs of address, among other requirements.
