A relationship full of conflicts

After what happened, the parents of Marcia Noemí Mattoso told this morning newspaper that over the years of living with the aggressor the victim filed several complaints of violence, the last alert being dismissed by the authorities in early December.

In addition, they added that an approach ban was currently in force.

“He manipulated my daughter a lot and she didn’t see reason. That’s why I went to the police station and asked to be arrested. He even sent threatening messages to us. But they did nothing, he continued free and attacked my daughter in front of everyone, ”said Mariela, the victim’s mother.

For his part, Carlos Mattoso mentioned that the attacker “didn’t even respect his children. He never liked working and he lived on his salary, but when the money ran out, he went crazy.

In this sense, Marcía’s father begged that “now the authorities take what he is capable of doing seriously, because for nine years he made my daughter’s life hell.”

For her part, the mother remarked that “there were complaints and restrictions, but the Police only started to move now. When I asked for help for my daughter, the Villa Bonita police station told me that they couldn’t do it without the authorization of a judge. Then the worst has to happen for them to act”.

On the other hand, the victim of the multiple stabbings also spoke after learning that her attacker was arrested, expressing that “I am much calmer now.”

In this context, he also said he felt “a lot of helplessness” in relation to “how he left me” and made clear his desire that “he pay for what he did and rot in jail”, adding: “I am grateful to be alive and with more strength to move on.”

In addition, he stated that he expects justice and predicted many years in prison for his attacker, posing at that point his hopes in the head of the Investigating Court 2 of Oberá, Horacio Alarcón, magistrate in charge of the case. “Thank you for the support,” Marcia closed her dialogue with this medium.
