Mexico City.- The trial of Genaro García Luna in a United States court and the accusation against former President Felipe Calderón unleashed claims and shouts against the deputy Margarita Zavala, who came out in defense of her husband’s government in 2006 and 2012.
The anniversary for the Day of the Air Force was used by the petista Lilia Aguilar to address the trial of García Luna and demand an account from Zavala of what, she said, was a narco-State during the Calderón government.

“If he didn’t know, he was stupid and if he knew, he was an accomplice,” said the PT legislator, while the PAN seats demanded that he shut up.
Margarita Zavala asked for the floor for allusions, in the face of “so many lies.”
Aguilar denounced that Acción Nacional refused in the Political Coordination Board to touch on the subject of the trial of García Luna, so it was important to touch on the subject at that time.
He pointed out that in the PAN they believe that by not talking about the issue and maintaining a “complicit silence”, reality will end.
He accused that Felipe Calderón established a “narco-State” and that the right wants to continue protecting complicities.
“They have dared to label Andrés Manuel López Obrador as having links to the drug trafficker because he was kind enough to greet the mother of a drug lord, but it is clear: they did not greet them, they hugged them, they owned the business together with them,” accused the PT deputy, again interrupted by the PAN members, who demanded that she cite the “kindness” of the President to speak with the mother of Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán.
He replied that he was not going to shut up.

The vice coordinator of Morena, Leonel Godoy, pointed out that he was proud to have been an adversary of Felipe Calderón when he was governor of Michoacán.
From a distance, Panista Patricia Terrazas yelled at Godoy who he had in the trunk.
Jorge Triana, vice coordinator of the PAN, responded with mockery to Godoy.
“I ask the security team to check the trunk of the deputies, to see if there is not someone with the last name Godoy in it,” he said in reference to the brother of the morenista, Julio César Godoy Toscano, who in 2009 entered the Chamber of Deputies hidden in a van to be able to protest as a deputy and thus evade justice, when he was accused of being an accomplice of the criminal organization La Familia Michoacana.
Godoy took the floor again, to reiterate that he was Calderón’s adversary.
“Time is proving us right, the ‘grenades’, the ‘michoacanazo’, was the work of Genaro García Luna, because he wanted a cartel to take over Michoacán,” he said.
He said that this is the true origin of the harsh and at the same time respectful dialogue he had with Felipe Calderón.
The PAN member Paulina Rubio claimed gender-based political violence, because Lilia Aguilar referred to Zavala as “wife of”, instead of referring to her as a legislator, while Morena deputies shouted “narcos, narcos”.
Margarita Zavala responded to Lilia Aguilar that her smile bothered her because she lacks joy, and then defended Calderón’s management.
“I want to thank my parliamentary group for the solidarity with a brave government that faced organized crime from 2006 to 2012.
“There was not a single political pact with any criminal, instead, the wave of violence that Mexicans are experiencing is due to an irresponsible and cowardly policy and an accomplice of hugs and not bullets.
“He doesn’t just hug them, he frees them, defends them, he doesn’t extradite them, and he even asks for their extradition, and he says, and says, since they complain so much, he didn’t know anything.
“He faced organized crime, we would like brave presidents, we would like responsible parties, also serve my solidarity to the Mexican Air Force that does not deserve Morena or her allies in the Government, that is why we are going to win,” he concluded.
The deputy Susana Prieto, from Morena, criticized the fact that the PAN considers it proud to have had Felipe Calderón as President.
Although he escaped from the Puente Grande prison in 2001, Prieto said that PAN members forget that “El Chapo” Guzmán was released during the Calderón government.
“They already forgot, they forget the electoral fraud that they committed in agreement with the PRI, so that it would take a chair that it stole.
“The National Action speech is completely exhausted, that, hugs, not bullets, we put up with a year and a half of greeting Chapo’s mother, and that they let Ovidio go, he’s already in prison, switch to the channel, they respect the current government, now they would like to have had one just like it”, concluded the debate.
