A dog groomer in La Plata was denounced for two alleged cases of animal abuse and is now being investigated by the Justice. A fractured dog is treated in January of this year and a dog died this last weekend as a result of alleged cases of bad practicedenounced by two families who point against the “Dog Grooming 47”located at 30 between 46 and 47.
One of the complainants assured that on Wednesday, January 25, she led Paris, a 5-year-old poodle, to get a haircut, mentioning to the employees that her dog suffered from “a problem in the spine,” so they needed to be extra careful when treating it. He then explained that when he removed the animal that same day, he noticed that it was very agitated and would get under the table, something he used to do when he felt uncomfortable. By Thursday, his pet didn’t feel like eating or drinking water and was having difficulty moving, so he texted the store manager to ask if something had happened to him, but the employee told him he had been calm. and his hair had been quickly cut.
Given the persistence of the symptoms, the woman decided to take her pet to the veterinarian and they ordered an X-ray, after which they gave her an injection. On Sunday the dog received more painkillers and corticosteroids at a veterinary center in City Bellbut on Tuesday, January 31, a plaque was made that revealed that he had two broken ribs and a lung contusion, so the vet recommended an outpatient treatment with medication and the animal was able to recover little by little. What infuriated her owner the most, however, was that the doctor himself never told her about what happened that afternoon at the hairdresser’s.
THE CASE OF BOLT

After seeing him in a deplorable state and out of his mind, the complainant decided to take the animal to a nearby veterinarian, where it was discovered that he had suffered multiple fractures and cracks in his skull, presenting a deep rectangular hole that had severely damaged that area.
From there, the dog was transferred to a specialized clinic, where his condition worsened and he had to be intubated. Despite medical efforts, Bolt failed to survive and was euthanized the next day by family decision.since they had been told that “I was going to continue to suffer” if the treatment was continued.
Days later, the woman met a friend and told her what had happened, only to find out that an acquaintance of hers had taken her dog Paris to the same place. Both agreed that the person in charge of the premises had not treated their animals in the best way, so they decided to file a joint complaint with the DDI La Plata, from where an investigation was initiated by UFI No. 6, from where they indicated that “All necessary steps will be taken to ensure that justice is done in this matter”.
