The lawyer Alejandro Sánchez Kalbermatten criminally denounced the economists and former Macrista officials Hernán Lacunza, Guido Sandleris and Alfonso Prat Gay for “treason against the homeland” with the “purpose of terrorizing the population”, whom he blamed for carrying out negotiations “to prevent the country from getting a disbursement of money from the IMF.”

The former head of the BCRA, Guido Sandleris and Macri’s former Minister of Economy, Hernán Lacunza, are also involved in the criminal complaint.
The complaint further states that “although the behavior described does not specifically include the use of weapons against the Nation, it could be interpreted that the steps taken to prevent the country from obtaining a disbursement of money from the IMF are intended to harm the country’s economy and, therefore, therefore, to undermine its integrity and economic stability”.
