Reynosa, Mexico.- A total of eleven “monster” type vehicles were destroyed by personnel of the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) at its facilities in Reynosa, Tamaulipas.
The corporation’s spokesperson indicated that it was through the Specialized Regional Control Prosecutor’s Office (FECOR) that the operation was carried out to disarm these vehicles that are involved in nine investigation files.
These cars that have handmade armor were seized in various confrontations that occurred in Nuevo Laredo and were used by criminal groups in the area.
It is worth noting the work and coordination with elements of the National Defense Secretariat (Sedena), who seized and made the units available.
The event was attended by the Federal Public Ministry (MPF), who coordinated the identification event, as well as authorities from the 8th Military Zone, official experts and personnel from the Internal Control Body of the FGR, who reviewed that the destruction of the “monsters” will be carried out in terms of the applicable norm.
