Five people who are allegedly part of a criminal alliance called “La Familia de Carolina” were arrested by agents of the Metro Drug Division of the Puerto Rico Police in the El Coral residential area, in the aforementioned municipality.
A minor, who was in the residence at the time of the search, was detained as part of the process, which will be consulted with the Public Ministry and the Family Department.
The members of “La Familia” were arrested at their residence in possession of around 255 crack capsules and 27 cocaine bags for sale. In addition, they seized 27 ammunition for rifles, reported the Police.
The raid occurs as part of an operation in various areas of the island, which included the arrest of a couple from Vega Alta, accused of making drug deliveries in pizza boxes.
It happened in the midst of several search warrants in which at least eight people were arrested.
