After eight months of investigative tasks, members of the “Ituzaingó” Anti-Drug Investigation Section and members of Squad 47 were able to confirm the existence of a criminal organization in the city of Posadas, dedicated to the sale and distribution of narcotics under the modality parcels, with final destination the provinces of San Luis and Buenos Aires.
The uniformed officers ordered road checks on National Routes No. 12 and No. 14 and carried out the inspection of a logistics truck that transported four ceramic boxes with 49 packages with a vegetable substance inside, which after being subjected to to the Narcotest field tests, these yielded positive results for marijuana, with a total weight of 22 kilos 333 grams.
The procedure determined the progress that led to the inspection of six homes simultaneously (one in Corrientes, four in Misiones and one in San Luis) that resulted in the arrest of five citizens and the discovery of four vehicles, four precision scales, 32 ceramic boxes with a space for the conditioning of drugs, three grinders, 1,745,900 pesos in cash and nine marijuana plants, detailed official sources of the Force.
The Federal Court of First Instance No. 2 of Corrientes intervened, which directed the arrest of those responsible, the seizure of the merchandise, shots and all the elements of interest to the cause.
