Two people entered to rob a house in the center of La Plata and were arrested when they tried to escape, but What seemed like one more of the many assaults taking place in the city took an unexpected turn and the victims also ended up in jail after a marijuana plantation was found in their own home.. The unusual event occurred in a house of diagonal 74 between 20 and 21where investigators ended up seizing seven flowering marijuana plants.
According to official reports, the agents received a 911 alert for an entrance and when they arrived at the place they ran into the criminals leaving a house. The neighbors then commented that they had called because they saw how the thieves entered the place and also because they had heard cries for help. The officers then interviewed the victims, two men aged 29 and 36, who told that the assailants had entered the place and tied them up to take over the marijuana plantation they had in the yard.
After the unusual confession, the investigators raided the property and indeed the seven seized marijuana plants were found in the house, each about 2 meters high. The victims, thus, also ended up being apprehended for possession of narcotics and transferred together with the assailants to the Eighth police station.
