Sonora.- A body with the characteristics of the IMSS doctor, Carlos Ríos, reported missing in Cajeme, Sonora, was found this Wednesday, confirmed the State Attorney General’s Office (FGJE).

According to local sources, in the early hours of this February 1, a corpse was located in a vacant lot in the town of Yucuribampo in Cajeme, which apparently tried to be hidden in the bushes. He was wearing a long-sleeved gray shirt, and had dark complexion, dark and wavy hair.

For several hours there was speculation about the coincidences with the 29-year-old ER who disappeared on January 17, and this afternoon, the head of the FGJE of Sonora, Claudia Indira Contreras Córdova confirmed this probability.

“I report that a few hours ago a lifeless body was located with a high probability of being the victim; however, at the request of the relatives, comparative DNA tests are being carried out for total scientific certainty,” the official said in a video. disseminated through official accounts.

In the recording of 1 minute and 43 seconds, the Prosecutor revealed that the autopsy carried out showed that the victim was deprived of life due to the impact of a firearm and that the time of his death ranges from 10 to 14 days.

Likewise, he affirmed that the Governor of Sonora, Alfonso Durazo, requested that the State Prosecutor’s Office seek the maximum sentence.

Contreras Córdova recalled that two people have been arrested in this case: a woman who was allegedly a former patient and partner of the doctor, and another subject linked by a sentimental relationship with the aforementioned.

The probable perpetrators, indicated the Prosecutor, are in prison after arresting them in Mochis, Sinaloa.

“Test data indicates that the doctor had a sentimental relationship with the detainee Mildred “N” today, who was his patient, and she in turn had a relationship with the also detained Mario “N”. The evidence shows that the latter defendant , in an episode of jealousy, orchestrated the deprivation of liberty and later the life of the victim. They will face the full weight of justice,” he said.

“The defendants belonged to a criminal cell that was dedicated to the theft of vehicles. Also derived from the investigations, it is presumed that they carried out activities related to kidnapping,” added Contreras.

In this public message, he informed that the initial hearing will take place in a few more hours.
