After more than 50 hoursIndian rescue teams have found the lifeless body of Srishti, a two-year-old girl who was trapped in a well more than 100 meters deep.

The body of the minor, who was “in a rather decomposed state”was transferred to a hospital, where the doctors determined that the little girl had died a few 40 hours before for suffocation.

“The authorities have presented charges against farm owner where the well was located, as well as against the person responsible for not having covered its opening,” said Sehore Police Superintendent Mayak Awasthi.
