In the morning hours of this Friday, police units found the body of a woman between the ages of 20 and 30, on the side of a dirt road in San Vicente.
Police sources continue to investigate to verify if it is a case of rape and femicide, because the victim had injuries of different degrees, in addition to having torn underwear.
The discovery occurred around 8, in the United neighborhood, 800 meters from the roundabout of Provincial Route 13 of the aforementioned town. According to official sources, passers-by who were passing by the place notified the Police that there would be a person who had vanished. Therefore, immediately members of the Regional Unit VIII of San Vicente went to the place to verify what had happened.
Upon arrival, they noticed that the woman, whose identity is still unknown, was face down on the weed area. Therefore, the police doctor on duty examined the deceased and determined that she had injuries on the side of her neck.
The intervening court ordered that the woman’s body be transferred to the Posadas Judicial Morgue for the corresponding autopsy to be performed. The analysis will also determine whether there was sexual abuse.
