Juarez City.- A total of 14 intentional homicides were registered yesterday Saturday until the closing of this edition, reported elements of the Homicide Unit of the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) of the North Zone District.
In the first incident of the day, a man was shot dead in the Granjas de Santa Elena neighborhood. In the report that was made at 7:30 in the morning, he was alerted to the discovery of a corpse lying face down with blood stains in the lower part of the waist.
The second crime was in the front yard of a house on Sierra de la Colmena streets and Juárez-Casas Grandes highway in the Kilómetro 28 neighborhood, where a man was found lifeless and with gunshot wounds.
A third homicide occurred inside a barbershop, where an employee of the barbershop was shot to death in the business located at the intersection of Manuel J. Clouthier avenue and Betabel street of Infonavit Ampliación Aeropuerto.
Victims number four and five of the day were reported in a double murder that took place on the streets of Portal del Roble and Portal del Mezquite in the Portal del Roble subdivision, in the Tierra Nueva sector.

Subsequently, four murders occurred almost simultaneously, which were reported yesterday afternoon in different parts of the city, so the number rose to nine people dead on Saturday.
The first of three crimes occurred on the streets of Volcán Usulután and Volcán Verde in the Parajes de San Isidro II subdivision. There, an 18-year-old person and a man were murdered inside a house by a gunman who, according to the report of municipal agents, was arrested.
The next attack was perpetrated on the streets of Suecia and Cádiz in the San Antonio neighborhood, where a man was left lifeless in the middle of the street along with various shell casings.
The third crime was on Bonampak and Paquimé streets in the Ricardo Flores Magón neighborhood.
Two other men, victims 11 and 11 on Saturday, were killed in the afternoon less than half an hour apart. At 5:51 in the afternoon, one of the men was executed on Candelaria Díaz de Bustamante and Francisca Gravas streets in the Independencia II neighborhood.
At 6:20 in the afternoon, the second victim was killed in Sierra de Grazalema and Monte Ararat streets in the Finca Bonita subdivision, where the body of the now deceased was left in the front yard of a house.
After 8:00 p.m., two other men were murdered in different parts of the city, the first at the intersection of De los Aztecas avenue and Zaragoza boulevard in the Ciudad Moderna neighborhood.
Shortly after 8:30 p.m., on Arroyo del Indio and Manuel Goytia streets in the Constitución neighborhood, a man was killed and another wounded by bullets.
Around 11:00 p.m., a 35-year-old man was murdered in the Anahuac neighborhood, on Héroes del Carrizal and Buenaventura streets.
Until the closing of this edition, with the 14 fatalities mentioned, the month of May reached 29 intentional homicides, according to the journalistic monitoring of El Diario.
