A Cuban woman offered a reward this Saturday to anyone who returns a motorcycle allegedly stolen from a minor in Artemisa.

The woman, sister of the minor whose motorcycle was stolen, did not specify the amount of the reward she is offering, but she did identify the alleged thief, his location, and shared several phone numbers to contact his family.

“I offer a reward to the one who gives me the motorcycle,” he said in his social networks The woman, identified as Yanaisy Collazo.

According to his information, the alleged criminal who stole his underage brother’s motorcycle was in Pinar del Río. However, he also did not specify in which municipality of that province the suspect would be.

“Please if anyone sees this man, Frank Alberto Collazo Pineiroaka the tooth, who just stole my brother’s motorcycle, please call # 53066417, 52365621, 52960146. Help me share, any information is useful ”, Collazo said on his Facebook account, attaching a photograph of the subject whom he accuses of being a thief.

At the time of writing this note, it is unknown if Collazo Piñeiro is a relative of the complainant, Yanaisy Collazo.

“Please help me identify where these photos were taken in Havana. That is the motorcycle that was stolen yesterday, ”said the woman in another social media post in which she shared photos taken of the motorcycle.

Red in color and from the Chinese manufacturer Taeko, the motorcycle supposedly stolen from Collazo’s brother, was seen parked on a Havana street. Apparently, the photos were taken with the intention of putting it up for sale on the internet.

Motorcycle thefts in Cuba have increased amid the wave of robberies, violent assaults and crime that citizens live with concern, fearful for their lives and belongings, and with strong criticism of the inaction and ineffectiveness of the Cuban police.

At the end of June, a Cuban also offered a reward to whoever found his Suzuki motorcyclestolen in the parking lot of his 12-story building in Camagüey.

Alberts Mora Zaldivarwho according to the information on his Facebook wall works in a computer company, denounced the inaction of the police in the face of the theft of his vehicle, who had not even cited him in relation to his complaint.

“Apparently they want me to take justice into my own hands. I give 400,000 CUP to whoever finds it. I don’t give money in advance to anyone, so they save time telling me. I don’t care about the police or the criminals, the offer is made for whoever finds my engine,” he announced.

A week later, Mora Zaldívar lowered his offer to 300,000 pesos for information about his stolen motorcycle and indicated that he was still “no response from police”.
