In Puerto Esperanza, the Misiones Police seized a van stolen in Buenos Aires that was circulating loaded with 26 fuel drums (already empty), and which was abandoned.

The event occurred this morning when members of the Commando Division carried out an operation on Avenida 20 de Junio, where they denoted an Amarok, running and without occupants. When verifying the domain, it was established that he had a request for kidnapping for robbery and the investigators do not rule out that those involved have boarded a second vehicle when they saw the police preventive point.

Police spokesmen reported that a few meters from the city’s bus terminal they observed a parked truck with its lights on, so they went to the vehicle, noting that it was abandoned with the doors open and running, also had in the body 26 unapproved drums that were presumably used to transport fuel.

Thus, consultations were carried out in the database of the Cybercrime Directorate, establishing that a current kidnapping order rests on the truck for a robbery reported in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires in August of last year.

For this reason, they seized the vehicle and deposited it at the police station, where they continue with the corresponding expert reports. Meanwhile, the search continues for those who were moving in the vehicle, who would already be identified according to the investigators of the case.
