HOUSTON – A large police operation was carried out yesterday in an area northeast of the Houston metropolitan area.
Several teams of investigators from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office were mobilized, including those from Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) teams, as well as homicide teams.
The body of a woman was suspected to have been discovered in a wooded area surrounding mobile homes and was apparently dismembered based on footage that could initially be seen from a distance when the report was made.
The “body” did not have an arm, nor a leg, nor a head from what could be seen from afar.
After the arrival of the investigators and reaching the place where the bag was, they discovered that there was not a corpse there, but a silicone doll for sexual games.
The doll was wearing a pink underwear set and a black garter belt.
What brought together more than 15 police officers, spokesmen for the Sheriff’s Office and which caused intense attention on social networks, in which it was even said that it was a crime, was -in the end- a false positive.
