The Manchester United legend will build a new home in his hometown of Kristiansund, and the plan is for the spectacular house to be ready in 2024.

This is stated by Betonmast Røsland in a press release. The firm has been commissioned to build Solskjær’s new house, with Sunniva Neuenkirchen Rosenberg as architect.

– It is very gratifying to be able to contribute to a great home for Silje and Ole Gunnar, says general manager of Betonmast Røsand, Eskild Røsand.

Construction is planned to start in the first quarter of 2023, and the current building is scheduled to be demolished during January.

– There has been a very good collaboration in the development and design phase, and now we are really looking forward to getting started, say Silje and Ole Gunnar Solskjær in the press release.

The couple bought the house at Bryggekanten 21 for NOK 11.5 million in 2010, according to the local newspaper Demands of the times. The property is right down by the sea on the south side of Innlandet.

After Solskjær was fired from Manchester United, he has lived in Innlandet, but not in the house he and his wife own in Bryggekanten, according to Tidens Krav.
