Critical success, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever wins a nice record on the Disney + platform
It’s official, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is the most-watched Marvel program when it launched on the SVOD Disney+ platform. Information communicated by the company on Monday which was based on the hours of streaming during the first five days of the broadcast of the feature film. The information is based on their own internal measurements and no specific figures have yet been released.

Sequel to the first film released in 2018, the feature film naturally experienced some difficulties following the death of the main actor Chadwick Boseman, interpreter of T’Challa. The script inevitably had to be reworked, and Marvel Studios announced that the role of Black Panther would not be recast. The film will then set its frame after the events of Infinity War and will focus primarily on T’Challa’s entourage and his legacy. Queen Ramonda, her daughter Shuri, and General Okoye must fight to protect their nation from other powers.
Award-winning performance
Nominated five times for the Oscars, Black Panther 2 will not have been selected in the category of best film but will still have largely won over critics and the public. On Rotten Tomatoes, the production gets the nice score of 84% on the critics side and 94% on the public side. At the 80th Golden Globes ceremony, actress Angela Basset still walked away with the award for Best Supporting Actress for playing Queen Ramonda. This is the first time an actor has won a major award for a role at Marvel.
