Tobey Maguire made a special comeback as Spider-Man in Spider-Man: No Way Home. There actually Tom Holland is the current cast of this Marvel hero, fans are surely initially of one one-time guest appearance went out. But if Maguire has his way, it might make something more out of it.
Is Tobey Maguire Returning As Spider-Man?
Coming out next month Spider-Man No Way Home: The Official Movie Special, which is all about the film of the same name and its background. Among other things, interviews with the former Spider-Man actors Andrew Garfield and also Toby Maguire be included. Some excerpts of this have already been made public, in particular the statements by Maguire causing a stir among Marvel fans should worry.
“I love these movies, and I love all the different shows. If these people had called me and been like, ‘Do you want to come over tonight to hang out and fool around?’ or ‘Would you come over to shoot that movie or read a scene for a Spider-Man thing?’ I would respond with a ‘Yes!’ answer. Because why wouldn’t I want to do it?”
The other statements in the interview also indicate that Tobey Maguire seems anything but averse to a comeback to the Marvel Universe as Spider-Man. So far, however, there is no concrete plans, corresponding announcements are also pending. But the actor apparently wants this door keep open.
What’s next in the MCU?
On February 15, 2023 Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania hits theaters, marking the start of Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Follow later this year many more MCU movies such as Guardians of the Galaxy 3 (May 5, 2023) and The Marvels (July 26, 2023). In addition, several are running new series on Disney Plus Well, in the spring it starts with Secret Invasion. Season 2 of Loki is also on the program.
