This year’s Farm celebrity is well under way and there are now ten participants left on the farm.

During the first week, TV personality Lina Adampour withdrew, and Espen PA Lervaag lost the duel and had to pack his bags.

This week, however, the participants get a surprise visit. They will once again become full as two challengers occupy the farm.

– I’m good at that

TV personality and reality contestant Aurora Gude (30) is one of the challengers. She took part in Paradise Hotel in 2014, and walked away with the win. Subsequently, she has participated in a number of programmes, including 71° north.

Now it is the farm universe that she will try her hand at.

– I really wanted to challenge myself. I also had a little faith that I was going to like it much better than both I and many others had thought, she tells TV 2 about the participation.

She is fond of both animals and nature, and has experience with horses. She hopes that this can be relevant for her on the farm.

– I’m good at that. I really hope that the knowledge I have about horses will be used, because it is a passion I have and something I feel confident about, says Gude.

– It’s so hard to come in and feel that you can’t contribute anything, so I almost hope that nobody knows anything about horses.

Fear of outsiders

There are, however, some things she is worried about when participating. Because it has been shown in previous seasons that it is not just about being a contender.

– What I fear most about entering as a challenger is feeling left out. I am afraid that it will be difficult to get into the group that has been there before, she says.

– It is a syndrome every year that they want the challengers straight out, so it is not the ideal setting.

Gude can tell that she is afraid of ending up in a competition. There is one reason in particular for this:

– Because I’m going in with another boy. I had hoped that it could be a woman because I am quite strong in my body, but it tends to be gender neutral when it is the opposite sex. So really, I’m just terrified of all competitions, because I’m really bad if it’s knowledge or weird, complicated tasks.

I declined to participate

The former ice hockey player Jan Tore Kjær is the second challenger on the Farm celebrity. In addition to the sport, he is known from a number of TV programs such as Kompani Lauritzen and Sofa.

When Kjær was first asked to be a challenger, he declined. However, there was one thing that made him change his mind.

– I didn’t want to enter the farm halfway and be thrown out after a vote after only a few days, he begins with.

Then there were changes this season. The challengers were to enter just a few days after the start of the season and they get the opportunity to fight against each other in a farm competition to stay.

– Then I accepted, he reveals.

Overcome the phobia

When Kjær accepted, he had to overcome a particular phobia.

– I have a phobia of getting muck on my hands and I hate the smell of poo and poo. I couldn’t change my daughter’s nappy when she was little, he says.

He says that it is a big barrier for him, which he tried to overcome in connection with the participation. It is hardly a secret that farm life in 1923 with animals can offer dirt here and there.

– I’m starting to vomit just talking about it, he reveals.

Kjær can say that he grew up with his grandparents, who had a cabin on a farm.

– So I lived in the cottage with my grandfather and grandmother from when I was little in the summer. I helped hang hay, clean the barn and rode horses. But I don’t really know anything about running a farm in particular.

Now he and Gude will run the Farmen kjendis farm, together with ten other participants.

The farm celebrity do you see Tuesdays at 21:40, and Wednesdays and Sundays at 20 on TV 2 Direct, and whenever you want TV 2 Play.
