Monterrey, NL.- Robert Dante Siboldi returned to the Estadio Universitario, now as the new coach of Tigres.

The Uruguayan led his first practice as helmsman of the cats, after being made official in the position after the departure of Marco Antonio Ruiz.

Siboldi is the fourth coach to manage the Auriazules in less than a year, after the dismissals of Miguel Herrera and “Chima” Ruiz, in addition to the departure of Diego Cocca to the bench of the Mexican National Team.

The new strategist, 57 years old, arrived at Uni at around 08:00 to take charge of the team. His presentation is scheduled for shortly after 1:00 p.m.

TIGRES RECEIVES SIBOLDI

Through a statement, Club Tigres made official the arrival of Siboldi as the new coach of the first team on Monday morning.

“We inform our fans that Robert Dante Siboldi will assume the Technical Direction of our team from today.

“Siboldi will make his debut as Tigres coach for this Thursday’s match against Motagua of Honduras, within the Concacaf Champions League,” the club reported.

SIBOLDI’S CAREER

Tigres will be the eighth club that Siboldi has led in his career.

Robert was a player and emblem of the cats in the 90s.

As a coach, he has led Cruz Azul Hidalgo, Cruz Azul, Dorados, Santos, Xolos, Veracruz and Al Ahli de Arabia.
