From Monday, July 3 to Thursday, July 6, 2023, the tinker tank mentor camp will take place again in Ludwigsburg. The workshop is aimed at teachers and supervisors of makerspaces who would like to learn how they can give people of all ages access to technology and creative idea generation through playful experimentation and how they can make them fit for the digital future.

According to the organizer, topics include:

  • How do I set up a workshop and what do I need for it?
  • Which utensils are suitable for workshops (tip: almost everything)?
  • How do I find the right ideas and topics?
  • I already know what I want to pass on, but what’s the best way to do it?
  • How do I find my didactic skills and can I use them effectively?
  • Which methods can I use?
  • How do I motivate my workshop participants?

In addition, there are lectures by experts from the making scene on topics such as setting up creative laboratories, sources of inspiration and motivation, sustainability and inclusion.

Technical know-how with various materials (e.g. scrap, fabrics) and tools (e.g. soldering irons, drills, saws) as well as electronics, circuits and microcontrollers is imparted in workshops.

The entire range of content and methods can be found on the organizer’s website.

Applications are possible until May 15, 2023. A short introduction and why you are interested in the camp should not be missing.

Participation is free, lunch and snacks will be provided.
