The past of the Gruber family is at the center of the 16th season. More specifically, the affair between Martin and Sonja, Hans (Heiko Ruprecht, 50) deceased wife. So the drama is inevitable, especially since Martin confesses everything to his brother in yesterday’s episode (01/26). “Hans, I’ve been thinking for a long time about whether and where and how to start. And I’m afraid,” says Martin, “that if I start, this will be our last conversation.” Hans has no idea what his brother is talking about. “I lied to you, Hans. And this lie must no longer stand between us.” And so Hans now finds out that Martin had a long-term relationship with Sonja and even wanted to go to New York with her. After the confession, Hans gets up without a word and drives away…
For some fans, that’s too much. One writes: “The script of this season is creepy. Please stop the drama about the ridiculous past. Dramas after dramas and at a time when the viewer would want something completely different. Only the acting of Sigel and Co. holds the last fans on the screen. We fans appeal to the screenwriters: give us a nice ending to the story of the Gruber family”. The following comment can also be read: “I think the story with Lili’s mother is totally superfluous! Martin and Hans should be reconciled, Anne should come back”. Anne, a name that keeps coming up in the comments column. Sentences like “Without Anne the air is gone, she is missing in the series”, “The series and we fans need Anne urgently” or “Boring episode – enough with Bergdoktor’s dramas! Anne is simply missing – it’s not fun to watch” are en mass to read.
