A Polish man in his 20s was convicted in June of gross negligence and gross drunk driving after fleeing from the police during what was described as a “crazy ride” through Trelleborg. The evidence was extensive. Including the entire journey was recorded by the perpetrator.

Between 2014 and 2017, Mikael Karl Fakhro, formerly Nabil Fakhro, and his five brothers ran Sularpsfarmen, a popular farm shop outside Lund. But after it was discovered that they did not pay taxes and lacked several permits they disappeared below the surface. A few years later, SVT Nyheter Skåne revealed that the six brothers ran several gardening companies which they used to deceive customers and municipalities into million dollar deals. Erica Erlandsson’s three sons showed their school cards as tickets when they took the påga train from Skurup. But the train conductor doubted the boys’ Swedish surnames and said “the way you look”. The incident was reported to the Discrimination Ombudsman and Skånetrafiken has apologized.
