Tottenham Hotspur apparently has an option to buy winger Arnaut Danjuma (26). As Spurs sports director Fabio Paratici announced on the club’s website, the Dutchman can be committed next summer. “We have the option to buy and will see what happens over the next five months.” So far it was unclear whether such a passage existed, but now Danjuma could stay at White Hart Lane in the long term. The right foot is still on loan from FC Villarreal until the summer.
In the FA Cup game against Preston North End, the dribbler scored shortly after coming on to make it 3-0. No surprise for Paratici: “I think Danjuma will be very important, he can help us further. He’s a player who’s been on the verge of moving to a big club in every transfer window for two or three years. […] We are happy for him that he made such a great debut.”
