The director of tourism and handicrafts of the region of Djanet, El Amine Hammadi, confirmed that the region of Djanet experienced, during the last days of the past year, a great movement of tourist activity.
Hammadi pointed out that there are positive indicators indicating the success of the desert tourism season. Stressing that the number of tourists from the beginning of the season until the beginning of last December reached about 2,728 tourists. Among them, 1,000 foreign tourists of various nationalities and 1,728 national tourists. Adding that the Paris-Djanet air line has been opened will encourage tourists to flock to the region via this direct air route.
