The last fatal accident had occurred last Wednesday at 88 between 28 and 29, where a 5-year-old boy, after a confusing episode, was run over by a white Chevrolet F 100 truck. Although he stopped and even took the father and the victim to the Children’s Hospital, a few minutes after the victim was admitted to the hospital, the driver fled the place in a taxi, leaving his truck abandoned.
Now, the sixth accident that cost the life of a person occurred yesterday in a sector of Berisso.
According to police sources told this newspaper, the victim, identified by the Police as Rodrigo Oroño (19), was traveling on a red Honda bis motorcycle, which, in circumstances that are now being determined, collided with a Peugeot Partner.
After the incident, witnesses who were circulating in the area at that time notified the police and SAME.
Moments later, a medical unit arrived at the scene and was in charge of providing first aid to the victim. With almost no vital signs, he was rushed to a local hospital. But the efforts were in vain since, according to the official report, shortly after entering the health center he died.
It was learned that, as a result of what happened, the Justice charged the driver of the Partner with the crime of “culpable homicide”, after carrying out a legal medical review and kidnapping the vehicle to submit it to different expert opinions.
This new tragedy exposed a worrying statistical fact: compared to the first eight days of 2022, the number of deaths in road accidents experienced a 100% increase.
