After an accident on Autobahn 59 on Monday morning, drivers currently have to be patient. According to the WDR, traffic is currently (as of 8:23 a.m.) in the direction of Duisburg between Walsum and Ruhrort over a distance of seven kilometers (30 minutes plus).

As the police informed the editors at 7:53 a.m., two cars were involved in the accident in the left lane. There was property damage, but no one was injured, according to a police spokeswoman.
