ACHNUS Film doesn’t just make films itself. On Friday, April 14th, we will be presenting weird films from German-speaking countries in our clubhouse from 8:00 p.m.

The online Duden defines trash as a “direction in music, literature and film for which content that appears consciously banal, trivial or primitive and a cheap-looking style are typical”. ACHNUS Film mainly shows works that offer something different in content than the usual Hollywood clichés. Christian Fischer invites us to the “Hotel Romantico” and Andreas Reisenbauer invites us to a strange Viennese Lost Place with its own rules in the short film “bunker.net”. Counterparts Entertainment’s “The Spy” gets a dangerous job and two cops are in trouble in Jürgen Meier’s “USD 16.75.” There are award-winning films by Udo Bermudo (Robert M. Hennefarth), who has already won a number of audience awards with the sequel to “Banana Peel Police”. As well as “Nachts sind alle Katzen Grau” by Christian Amann and Lasse Linder, winners of the European Film Awards (EUFA) 2020. ACHNUS Film provides a look at the current production, which is expected to premiere this autumn. Admission to the 7th ACHNUS Film TrashNight in the MovieLounge (Fattweg 7, Wolfurt) on Friday, April 14 from 8 p.m. is free.
