Off for “Aura”: Aida retires ship
Aida is retiring her currently oldest ship in September. According to the shipping company, the “Aida Aura” was then in operation for more than 20 years. In her final season, the Aura first cruises off South Africa and Namibia before returning to European waters via the Canary Islands. On September 21, after more than 800 cruises, it will be over. First on domestic flights: Delta introduces free WiFi
Atlanta (dpa / tmn) – Delta Air Lines wants to offer free WiFi on most US domestic flights from February. According to the US airline, the wireless Internet connection will be offered in more than 700 aircraft by the end of 2023 and will also be available free of charge on international flights by the end of 2024. However, passengers must be enrolled in Delta’s Skymiles loyalty program to use it.
Play: Icelandic low-cost airline heads for Düsseldorf
Düsseldorf (dpa/tmn) – After Hamburg and Berlin, the Icelandic low-cost airline Play will also be flying to Düsseldorf from the summer. From June 8th there will be three times a week flights between the city on the Rhine and the Icelandic capital Reykjavik. From there, Play offers flights to four cities in the eastern United States, among other things.
