As the summer season approaches, new measures have been taken by airlines, but also by airports to facilitate travel procedures for passengers wishing to travel to Algeria during the summer holidays.
It should be recalled that during his last visit to Algiers airport, the Minister of the Interior, Local Authorities and Urban Development, in this case Ibrahim Merad, ordered the adoption of new measures aimed at facilitating transit travelers and members of the diaspora during the next summer season.
Moreover, Houari Bouemediene airport has decided to provide its travelers with new services to make their passage through this airport structure pleasant. These include what was announced by the airport in question on April 17.
Algiers airport unveils new features for summer 2023
Indeed, to properly prepare for the arrival of the summer season, Algiers airport has made several reception and information points available to these passengers. These are located at Terminal 1 and West Terminal and provide travelers with hostesses to guide and answer the various questions of passengers in this airport enclosure.

In addition, complaint boxes and registers of complaints have been set up to process passenger requests and improve the quality of services offered by Algiers airport. According to the press release in question, its reception points are distributed as follows:
At the West terminal:
- Two information and complaints counters set up in the Departure public hall;
- An information box at the boarding area;
- An information desk has been set up at the arrivals level in the public area;
- An information and complaint form established at the arrivals level. In particular, just after the PAF/Customs formalities.

At terminal 1:
- A central counter located at the level of the public hall;
- Two orientation boxes established at the level of halls 1 and 2.
