Trump: Political persecution and accusations vs. popularity

Unprecedented in the nation’s history, the advance of the radical “progressive” (socialist) tendency supposedly keeps under its control more than 70 judicial districts in the country, with an alarming influence of power over -even- other federal institutions.

The funds and support for this trend are intended to reverse the conservative destiny of the US and intend to change the course of Western capitalism to a “capitalism” with the greatest possible centralization of power of the federal state.

Despite the division of powers, Joe Biden, the new Democrats, the Department of Justice and the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation), are -apparently- already riding that lane in the eyes of democracy and the American people .

the purposes of the left

The removal of the most fervent opponent (Trump) from the US political terrain is essential. For this reason, all efforts are directed in that line when the polls give the least support in history for the management of an acting President: Joe Biden.

The purposes are obvious: the moral, financial and political wear and tear on the favorite Republican candidate for the 2024 presidential elections, a modality that is becoming increasingly evident on a large scale under authoritarian regimes in the world, including democracies.

A grand jury in Fulton County, Georgia, indicted Trump following an investigation into his alleged efforts to “nullify” the 2020 presidential election.

Criminal charges were also issued against former Trump White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, attorneys Rudy Giuliani, Sidney Powell, Jenna Ellis, Kenneth Chesebro, Jeff Clark and John Eastman, among others. Georgia’s indictment covers 19 people in total. All conservative.

Trump’s indictment is based on 13 counts, including violation of Georgia’s RICO Act, conspiracy to impersonate a public official, conspiracy to commit forgery in the first degree, and conspiracy to commit false statements and writings.

Trump to release ‘irrefutable evidence’

According to the newspaper The Political Insider and other media, Trump will release “irrefutable evidence” that his legal team possesses and that, he claims, will lead to “total exoneration” in the Georgia case.

Trump insists that there was widespread fraud in the 2020 presidential election and accuses the Department of Justice now led by Merrick Garland of high corruption.

The report is due to be delivered Monday at a news conference from his Bedminster golf course in New Jersey.

“Based on the results of this conclusive report, all charges against me (and) others must be dropped. There will be a complete EXONERATION!” Trump wrote on his Truth Social social network.

“They have never gone after those who rigged the 2020 presidential election,” he said. “They only go after those who fought to find the truth!” she added.

Republican representatives and senators, along with supporters of the former president, lashed out at the new indictment in Georgia as further evidence that “rogue prosecutors and the DOJ are trying to interfere in the 2024 presidential election.”

Accusations against Trump against Biden’s disaster

Trump also pointed out that the actions of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis are clearly politically motivated.

“This politically inspired indictment, which could have been brought nearly three years ago, was designed to sit right in the middle of my political campaign,” he said in a statement.

Quite coincidentally, Willis launched his own website for the 2023 re-election campaign and sent out fundraising emails to his supporters, days before the announcement of his charges against Trump.

Karoline Leavitt, a spokeswoman for the movement created by Trump, Make America Great Again Inc., harshly criticized Willis.

“Fani Willis joins Merrick Garland, Jack Smith, and Alvin Bragg in the Progressive Democratic Prosecutors Club, whose sole goal is to arrest Donald Trump and keep him from being on the ballot against Joe Biden,” he said.

Leavitt vowed that Trump “will continue to exert his strength as the undisputed leader against this unprecedented abuse of power, as the American public continues to rally around him with more force and enthusiasm than ever before.”

The accusations arise -again- at a time of a strong negative impact for Joe Biden in different areas, in addition to his continued decline in the polls.

Among other issues, the increase and intensification of investigations by Republicans in the House of Representatives into his son, Hunter Biden, along with the rejection by a federal judge of his agreements with the prosecution for barely three federal charges, after almost five years of investigations and “a life full of crimes” as denounced by dozens of legislators in Congress in Washington, former prosecutors and conservative experts.

Hunter Biden has been linked to several corruption scandals with a high risk to US national security, revealed by various national media outlets, and which the Biden administration’s Department of Justice has tried -by all means- to cover up.

Other issues stand out in the current political arena: the second anniversary of the chaotic departure of US troops from Afghanistan, the tragedy in Hawaii with more than 95 deaths, the increase in inflation in July after more than two years together with 90% of the economic indices in the red and the constant decline in the polls; the lack of control on the border after almost three years, the scant results of the Ukrainian counteroffensive against the Russian army, a war paid for with almost 200,000 million dollars by American taxpayers (whose majority disapprove) and the increase in tensions and terrorism to international level.

In a general sense, Biden, despite his smiles in public, finds himself on a huge pressure valve with his son, which advisers in the White House and the new Democratic Party are trying not to burst. Hence the comments that leak from the presidential residence that report insults from the President to several of his close employees as part of his frustration.

Several members of his cabinet and his press team resigned between mid-2022 and so far in 2023, among them two figures in decisive positions: his main economic adviser, Brian Deese, and the main national policy adviser, Susan Rice. .

Presidential candidate Ramaswamy and Trump’s legal team

The battle of harassment and political persecution that Trump faces has been joined with greater force by the Republican presidential candidate, Vivek Ramaswamy, who also reached the closest opponent of Trump, Ron DeSantis, in a latest Kaplan Strategies poll with 12%. Another from Harvard Harris made last week, gave him 10%

Ramaswamy, a noted biotech entrepreneur, also offered to draft a document to provide information to the Justice in Trump’s defense, about what he describes as a “constitutional violation of due process rights.”

“The prosecutors should not decide the presidential elections of the US, and if they are so enthusiastic that they commit constitutional violations, then the cases should be dismissed (and) they should be held accountable.”

A statement issued by former President Trump’s lawyers emphasizes that “the events that have unfolded today (Tuesday, August 15) have been shocking and absurd. They began the day before with the leak of an alleged and premature indictment before witnesses had testified and before the grand jury members had deliberated. They ended up in that the District Attorney has not been able to offer any explanation”.

“This one-sided grand jury presentation was based on witnesses harboring their own personal and political interests, some of whom conducted advocacy campaigns against the defendants and/or benefited from book deals and employment opportunities as a result,” adds the Lawyers text.

Moments after announcing “the fourth judicial case of electoral interference against Trump”, the reactions of the former president and his campaign team were accentuated.

“Justice and the rule of law are officially dead in the United States,” argued the former president.

“This marks the fourth act of electoral interference and abuse of power by Joe Biden and the communist democrats that they are absolutely destroying our country,” he added.

For its part, the campaign of the 45th President of the United States declared:

The latest criminal charges are a politically motivated attack launched by “Democratic activist” Willis.

Willis, the statement said, “bragged to the left-wing media about his efforts to bring down Trump” and “raised the vast majority of his campaign funds by promoting his election research on social media.”

The district attorney’s investigation is “compromised by unethical conduct and political bias,” the document released to the press added.

The former president is not only a victim of the actions of the left and the extreme left in the US, but “progressive” (socialist) prosecutors or those seeking to benefit from this trend use the accusations against Trump as part of their political re-election campaigns. .

For these reasons, judges and prosecutors should not obtain their positions through electoral suffrage, but rather by competent juries appointed by the state Supreme Courts and where they demonstrate -in summons- their integrity and professional value, truly committed to Justice and not within of a ring like politicians in search of campaign gratitude funds and votes, something that breeds corruption sooner or later.
