Spanish Television continues with its successful formula of recovering programs that were once audience leaders. This is the case of ‘El Grand Prix’, which returned this summer with Ramón García to conquer viewers on Monday nights. Now, The public corporation gives the green light to a new season of one of the chain’s most iconic spaces: ‘Knowing how to live’.

The health and well-being program returns to La 1 after four years without broadcasts. His last installment dates back to 2019 on La 2. This time ‘Knowing how to live’ returns to the main RTVE channel on Saturday mornings with its 26th season. Its premiere? Next September 23 at 10:35 a.m. with a new pair of presenters: Paula Sainz-Pardo and Jerónimo Fernández.

Of course, they will not be alone since they will have experts of the caliber of chemist Marta León and biologist Tamara Pazos. Beatriz Robles, Andrea Calderón and Juan Revenga will focus on responsible consumption. Chefs Sergio Fernández and Marta Verona will prepare healthy recipes. Regarding sports: coach David Navarro and pilates teacher Pilar Caballero. In mental health, the neuroscientist Nazareth Castellanos and the psychiatrist Pilar Molina.

Long run on TVE

‘Knowing how to live’ landed on Spanish Television in 1997 in order to promote dissemination and health education always with scientific evidence, and with a team of professionals in the field of health. During its first two decades, it was broadcast from Monday to Friday with Manuel Torreiglesias, becoming one of the flagships of the network’s programming.

In 2019, it was decided to a single weekly delivery due to low absence data. The last seasons experienced a real dance of presenters; from Teresa Viejo to Luis Gutiérrez through Julio Zarco, Macarena Berlin, Miriam Moreno and Marta Solano.
