These two people would have admitted to being related to the death of Romero, who -according to documents from the Harris County Criminal Court- had an extramarital relationship with Salazar.

The couple faces charges of manslaughter, aggravated kidnapping and evidence tampering in Harris County Criminal Court 265 and are being held in county jail.

Bail was set at $600,000 for Cruz and $500,000 for Salazar.

In case they want to use the bail, they must avoid any type of contact with the wife of the victim or other relatives and avoid the use of alcohol or access to weapons.
