FRESNO, California – Fresno police officers are investigating a new homicide that occurred shortly after midnight Monday southwest of the city.
According to authorities, a male victim was shot dead in the 200 block of West Hawes.
The victim is in her 40s, officers said. Although first aid was rendered, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities continue at the crime scene collecting further information.
