Season 1 of Chapter 4 of Fortnitehas been widely praised by gamers as one of the best battle royale outings yet, and some of that can be attributed to its smorgasbord of fun and new elements.

Among these exciting additions is the Shockwave Hammeralso know as Shockwave Hammer which is mobility based and allows players to bounce around the map and hit unsuspecting targets, same as Epic Games temporarily disabled.

This was after discovering an exploit, but now it’s back in action as of Tuesday, January 10, along with the Burst Assault Rifle not vaulted, so you can carry on with all your fun. As for the return of the Burst Assault Rifle, here’s what you need to know.

Where to get the Burst Assault Rifle and how it works

The Burst Assault Rifle is, as the name suggests, a Burst Rifle that provides high accuracy by spacing the shots. It uses medium ammo and comes in Common (122 DPS), Uncommon (126 DPS), Rare (134 DPS), Epic (142 DPS), and Legendary (146 DPS) rarities.

As with most normal weapons, it can be found almost anywhere, including on the ground, in chests, and even by fishing. Now, keep in mind that while it’s a great option for medium-range engagements, the Burst Assault Rifle doesn’t typically do as well when dealing with enemies up close, or in very long-range firefights.

However, if you can find the right range to take full advantage of his accuracy, his high headshot damage can be devastating to his opponents. Just make sure you have something like an SMG or shotgun with you for when you get pushed at close range, as stray bursts from the rifle in close quarters will be very harsh and likely result in unnecessary death.
