A generation that brings its share of novelties
The iPhone 14 Pro keeps the look of its predecessors, with stainless steel edges and a very successful frosted glass back. It is above all the addition of the Dynamic Island function that makes the difference: the notch turns into a pill to accommodate the front camera and the sensors necessary for Face ID – which could also go under the screen on the 16 Pro. This pill integrates perfectly with the software interface, since it automatically interacts with your notifications and widgets via animations.
To continue in the display, this generation 14 Pro introduces (finally) the Always-On Display. A feature perfectly mastered here, and will constantly display information such as the date and time. Otherwise, the 6.1-inch panel is still Oled with very faithful colors and good brightness. Added to this is a refresh rate ranging from 1 to 120 Hz for more pleasant navigation. It is also at the level of the photo that changes are to be noted. The arrival of a telephoto lens and above all a resolution of 48 megapixels for the main sensor make the difference. The latter allows a digital x2 zoom and still impeccable photos. The video also offers stability at all times.

The internal power of this iPhone 14 Pro is provided by the new A16 Bionic chip. Engraved in 4 nm, it is announced as 10% more powerful (at the CPU level) than the previous generation. Nevertheless, it does not bring a real power gain, the difference will not be felt on a daily basis, even on the most demanding games. It is more the operations related to artificial intelligence that will be faster. Then with iOS 16, you will enjoy an interface that is always fluid and easy to use.
Once again, Apple is a good student in terms of autonomy. The iPhone 14 Pro has a slightly larger battery than the iPhone 13 Pro, and can last a good day of battery life, despite Alway-On being activated. Enduring, but still slow on charge. After 30 minutes, the 14 Pro recovers 50% charge with a 20W (or more) adapter, which is not included as a reminder.
