Two men were injured by gunshots in incidents reported at 9:48 p.m. on Friday, in front of a church located on highway 730 in the Matón Abajo neighborhood, in Cayey.

As reported, a call was received from the 9-1-1 Emergency System indicating gunshot wounds in events that occurred in front of the aforementioned church. When the agents appeared, they found the two victims, Alex D. Sierra Santos, 24 years old and Caleb E. Rodriguez Santos, 20 years old, with wounds in different parts of the body. Both were transported to an area hospital and their condition was not specified.

Sierra Santos received two wounds to the right arm and one to the right thigh. While Rodríguez Santos ended up with injuries to both legs, one to the back and the other to the right buttock.

A gray Nissan Versa vehicle, IZA-125 tablet, was seized at the scene as part of the investigation.

As a result of the shooting, the Seventh-day Adventist Church building suffered damage from the impacts on the front of the structure. At this time, the damage has not been estimated.

Agent Angel Ramos, assigned to the Homicide Division of the CIC of Caguas, continues with the investigation.
