Moscow. The mayor of Moscow, Sergei Sobyanin, reported that on the night of Saturday to Sunday a Ukrainian drone tried to attack the Russian capital in a southerly direction, but the air force thwarted the attempt.
“Last night a drone tried to attack Moscow from the south, but the Russian air force thwarted that attempt. Thanks to the military for their work,” Sobyanin wrote on his Telegram channel.
On July 30, two Ukrainian drones crashed into two towers of the Moscow International Business Center, a third aircraft was shot down in the surrounding areas of the city.
At dawn on August 1, Volodymir Zelensky’s troops attacked the towers of the International Business Center again with three drones. One of them managed to hit one of the towers, the other two UAVs were shot down by anti-aircraft defense in the vicinity of the capital.
The United Nations timidly called on Ukraine to stop its attacks against civilian buildings in Russia.
