The auto-runner game should be available on February 21, 2023. Sony’s partner Exient has taken over the development. Unfortunately, this is likely to be a typical mobile game again, because the Play Store already contains a reference to advertising and in-app purchases. I’m counting on simple gameplay that has essentially been tinkered around microtransactions.
Of course, this is all too easy to integrate with the brand, because here the collectible costumes and accessories already play a major role in the console games. But is it the best idea to expand your brand in this way? Well, it’s not my thing, but there will certainly be players.
