There are visitors that one does not want to know anything about. Especially if it is one that has the ability to cause much more than a scare.
That precisely happened in a home in Falfurrias to which the police and rangers went because an alligator or lizard appeared in the place, as they are also popularly known. The animal, although not so big, is large enough to take the breath away from whoever finds it in front of it.
“Falfurrias Police assisted Ranger Warden J. McFall with an early morning call regarding an intruder at a residence on Highway 281 South. Upon apprehension, the suspect attempted to evade and resist arrest. The intruder was safe in custody¨, published the Falfurrias Police jokingly on its Facebook page with three images in which the fearsome animal appears.
As a curious fact, in Texas it is prohibited to feed these animals when they are not in captivity. Also, they live in or near water. They are common in swamps and rivers. Although they usually live in fresh water, they are also tolerant of brackish water.
