A giant hole appeared in a private field at the southern exit of la commune de Melakou16 km south of la wilaya de Tiaret.
This pit raised various reactions and interpretations a few hours after the publication of several pictures on the web. Some have suggested that a foreign object may have entered or exited the hole, leaving room for this void in the field.

However, a local resident explained the incident as the result of a geological phenomenon well digging that caused a landslide.
For the moment, no official statement has been made by the directorate of water resources or the directorate of agriculture to clarify the situation and put an end to speculation.
The death sentence imposed on an individual for murder
The criminal tribunal at the Court of Tiaret had pronounced the final verdict in a murder case occurred last July in the same wilaya.

The main defendant, a young man, was sentenced to death for killing a person with a sickle. The victim was 40 years old.
Three other people, including a woman, were also found guilty and received sentences ranging from 10 to 20 years in prison. The facts of this case began with an argument which broke out between people residing in the Tousnina region and which turned into a violent altercation.
